Near Hacks began as a monthly recurring traveling hackathon and hacker houses for the NEAR Ecosystem. Over time, it evolved into a vibrant online community passionate about the Near Ecosystem, driven by the spirit of innovation, and fueled by hackathons and shared knowledge. Near Hacks envisioned itself as more than just a monthly gathering; it aspired to become a burgeoning platform that curates and shares insightful information, resources, and Telegram groups related to the Near Ecosystem and its vast community worldwide.
However, their initial platform, a Linktree page, posed limitations as the community continued to grow.
Problem
Near Hacks aimed to efficiently manage their growing content volume and reduce costs by transitioning from a Linktree page to a custom React website, streamlining access to resources while eliminating third-party subscription fees, ensuring scalability for future growth.
